Better late then never
So you’re a savvy Playstation gamer guy and/or girl, you’ve read all the reviews and done all your homework regarding the PS4 Pro and you’ve decided not to upgrade, we’ll let me tell you why there is no better time than now to upgrade to the PS4 Pro.
Enough time has passed since the PS4 Pro’s arrival for you to already know by now that the PS4 comes with improved internals over its original PS4 counterpart, I’ve included the main(boring) points in the image below.
Look, you’ve probably already looked into all the tech specs and made your decision, but for those of you who haven’t this message is for you and it’s a simple one from me, upgrade now.
But why Mr Gadgetandgamer I hear you cry?
It’s simple really, yet it’s something that you never seem to hear in any online review or YouTube video.
The reviewer will go through all of the specs, how the PS4 Pro compares and is marginally better to the original and that you should only buy it based on two things.
- If you own or you’re buying or planning to buy PSVR.
- If you own or you’re buying or planning to buy a 4K HDR TV.
Now, I completely agree with the above, however, below is my point that is never mentioned anywhere it seems.
- You can upgrade for around £199 by selling your original PS4 on eBay after you’ve transferred your HDD data from your PS4 to your new PS4 Pro.
I can tell you this because I’ve done it, just before Christmas.
I happen to utilise PSVR & 4K features of PS4 Pro, so for me, personally, I feel like it was a worthwhile upgrade.
If you’re in the position of uncertainty in whether to upgrade then just allow me to highlight a few things.
The PS4 Pro is future-proofed (as future proofed as any tech device can be), you’ll also take advantage of the increased 1TB HDD storage and faster WiFi speeds as the PS4 Pro now utilises wifi on the 5ghz spectrum, it’s quieter than the PS4 and after selling your original PS4 on eBay for ~£150, you’re effectively be getting newer tech for less.
Just note, that as every day passes by, the original PS4 loses resale value and thus your chances or grabbing the PS4 Pro at a sizable discount lowers as time goes on.
So what do you think, have you been thinking about pulling the trigger on a shiny new gadget?
Let me know in the comments below, I’d love to know.
